Informa Exhibitions’ Lilian Burgardt receives UFI Next Generation Leadership Grant

Celebrations are in order for one Informa Exhibitions colleague, as it was announced that Lilian Burgardt, Head of Digital Products at Informa Brazil, has been selected as one of only five recipients to be awarded the 2018 UFI Next Generation Leadership Grant.

Lilian impressed the jury with her application, which described the great work she is currently doing with her team in Brazil, and highlighted her desire to leverage Informa's digital reputation and content marketing capabilities into a strategy which has the ability to create real impact, revenue and value all year-round.

An international jury, led by UFI President Corrado Peraboni, selected the five recipients for their exceptional initiative in driving change and innovation in their different areas within the exhibition industry. The programme is spread over 12 months, during which time Lilian will benefit from C-level mentoring, and will have the opportunity to travel to and present her ideas at UFI conferences in Italy and Russia.

“The NGL Grant, which has now reached its third edition, reflects UFI’s commitment to recognising and supporting the best talents within the exhibition industry,” said UFI Managing Director/CEO, Kai Hattendorf. "We believe in the importance of rewarding a global group of strong personalities who will be able to drive the needed changes in the industry in the upcoming years. I would like to personally thank all those involved in the programme."

Congratulations to Lilian on this wonderful opportunity!
