This year’s Trade Show News Network (TSNN) Awards in Louisville saw two Informa/UBM events recognised for excellence, with WasteExpo winning the ‘Best of Show’ award, while UBM’s CPhI North America & Informex took home the accolades of fastest-growing-for-profit show for attendance and overall fastest-growing show for attendance.

The TSNN Awards, which this year took place in Louisville, Kentucky, take place annually and bring together industry leaders to network, connect and celebrate the exhibitions industry, as well as recognise the top shows, innovators and icons from across the United States.

Mark Hickey, Vice President of the Waste360 group, was honoured to accept the award on behalf of his team, saying:

“WasteExpo is the ultimate team sport. From marketing to sales and operations, this team delivered an exceptional experience for our close-knit community of exhibitors and attendees. It was EPIC as our campaign promised and this special group exceeded expectations. This 'Best of Show' award was a fantastic way to cap off our 50th anniversary."

Joseph Marks, Brand Director for CPhI North America & Informex, was equally delighted with his team’s wins, describing the two awards as an ‘embarrassment of riches’.

In addition, Aharon Shamash, SVP, Managing Director of the Cruise, Chemicals and Catering Portfolios, is excited over CPhI North America & Informex’s win and proud of the team that made receiving this award possible, saying:
